I wasn't intentionally using her as my inspiration for the new 'do, but I'm surprised I didn't think of it before. I remember really liking her hair and style in the X-Men movies (She's the other character, besides Prof. X, who has telekinetic powers--and it doesn't hurt that she gets to interact with Hugh Jackman on occasion. Aside: Did you know Hugh can sing and dance, as well as act?)
Anyway, here are the before and after pics, although the after pic looks pretty similar to my "normal" hair. It's hard to tell without light overhead, so I might post another one later. It won't last too long, since it's semi-permanent (think 6-8 weeks, if I take showers), but it was a fun experiment!

| Before ~ It was getting too long and bothering my neck. |

| After ~ Shorter in the back, more layers, and AUBURN! |
Shoutouts:
Fantastic Sam's in Olathe, KS (119th): Ask for Lisa, who gets curly hair. I've been going to her for years, and she does a good job. Plus, it's hard to beat <$20 for a woman's haircut, including tip!
Natural Instincts: Semi-permanent hair color, #22 Medium Auburn Brown, about $7 from Target.
