He was a truth-teller no matter what--even if it meant people would hate him, and eventually kill him (How often do we meet these people now?).  He rocked the worlds of those who believed in him, and those who didn't.  Jesus still does this today.

In recent years I have been convicted about purchasing excess clothes in general, especially from retail businesses like those at the mall. The choice between spiritual formation and mission is not one the Church should have to make.  But it makes sense, given our current methods of Christian education and cultural proclivity toward individualism.I have a friend who's a National Guard chaplain.
