If I was an english teacher, I might care about the thesis or theme of this group of online journals. Is it about different donuts every day? Will I build a banana-shaped ranch house using only ducks? Is it about how I aspire to great creative heights, with subsequent book deals?
No. Blogging is not a means to fame for me. This blog was originally a means of communicating with my family and friends while I was in Thailand doing missions work in 2005. It continues to be an outlet for [sporadically] communicating with the people I care about, so it's not very organized, exciting, or magical. It's a collection of thoughts about life and Christian spirituality. So if you don't know me from Adam, and you stumble upon this menagerie of my personal thoughts, that's ok. You're welcome. The world is smaller than we realize and maybe someday we can be friends.
[From my profile] I think the meaning of life is to demonstrate lenity and love to our fellow creations (human and otherwise) along with learning to allow some of that grace for ourselves. In my experience, these acts are best accomplished and sustained through faith in Jesus and participation in/commitment to the Church.
